Enhancement unlocks at character level 9.

Level from the main story quest line — no side detour needed. The enhancement UI appears in your character menu the moment you hit 9.

What Enhancement Is
Enhancement pushes gear up its grade's cap: Common and Rare items cap at +5 (always succeed), Epic at +10 (safe), Unique at +15 — safe to +10, then descending odds of 65% → 50% → 35% → 25% → 20% with a +5% bonus chance added after every failure. Enhance Stones and Kina are the consumable cost.
How to get there
First Enhancement Priorities
Enhance the weapon you will keep, not the one you are about to replace. Common-grade starter gear is cheap to push, but the stones are better saved for the first Epic or Unique drop — the enhancement guide has the full expected-cost tables.
