How the math works
Aggregate gear score is the sum of item level plus enhancement level across every equipped slot. The Conquest gates — 700, 1,400, 2,100, 2,800 and 3,000 — check that total. The calculator flags your weakest slot because aggregate math is brutal on holes: one near-empty slot drags the total more than five good slots reward it, so the cheapest fix for the next gate is usually a slot replacement, not another enhancement roll on your best piece. Your in-game number may sit slightly above this equipment-side sum (Daevanion Board points also count) — treat the in-game readout as authoritative.
