AION 2 Spiritmaster Class Guide

Role: Summoner DPS

Weapon: Orb

Learning curve: Demanding

Role in the Party

The launch roster's summoner: it fights through summoned spirits rather than raw personal damage, commanding a pet that can occupy enemies while the Spiritmaster casts. Some pre-launch coverage lists the class as "Elementalist" — same class, different working name. The damage profile is indirect but steady, and the pet's body is free crowd control.

Playstyle

Micromanagement is the tax and the fun: your spirit's positioning, targets and uptime are a second rotation running alongside your own. Played well it is strong solo — the pet tanks, you kill — but the class asks for more concurrent decision-making than any other caster.

How summons scale at the level-45 cap is one of the things the community is still verifying on live servers — check patch notes before investing heavily in a pet-build at endgame.

Leveling to 45

One of the three self-sufficient solo classes: the spirit holds aggro while you damage from safety, which makes elite hunting and quest mobs equally comfortable. Group slots from level 30 onward value the pet's off-tanking and the class's sustained output.

Progression Notes

Orbs follow the standard gear rules — the grades page covers the Common-to-Unique ladder. Pet-focused builds lean on the same enhancement economy as everyone else, so the enhancement guide's stone budgeting applies twice over.
